His research focuses on the development of local and regional policies to tackle the environmental burden of commercial trucks and buses by conducting high-quality quantitative research. Hussein's areas of expertise cover zero-emission heavy-duty vehicle technology analysis and economic assessment. Hussein holds a Ph.D. in Energy and Electric Mobility from Mines ParisTech (France).
