Spanish wind energy developer Gamesa has signed an agreement with China Guangdong Nuclear Wind Energy to supply 49.3MW wind turbines.
The company will install the 58 wind turbines that each has a 850kW capacity at a wind farm in Shandong Province.

China Guangdong Nuclear Wind Energy, a part of the state-owned China Guangdong Nuclear Power Group, owns the wind farm, wherein construction is currently underway.
The wind plant is expected to be connected to the grid by the end of December 2012.
Gamesa has earlier partnered with Guangdong Nuclear through its operations in China as a turbine manufacturer and wind farm developer.
Following the latest supply of wind turbines, Gamesa has completed the installation of 350MW of projects with the utility in Shandong, Liaoning and Heilongjiang provinces.
