Ming Yang Wind Power’s subsidiary Guangdong Mingyang Wind Power Group has signed a framework agreement with Romania-based Speranta & Succesul.
The agreement had been signed during the second summit between Chinese and Central and East European leaders in Bucharest on 25 November 2013.
As part of the deal, Guangdong will be involved in the wind farm development, supply of EPC services and equipment procurement of a 200MW wind farm project in Romania.
Ming Yang will supply its 2.0MW large rotor diametre wind turbine generators for the new project, which is expected to cost around € 400m.
The company noted that the agreement is an important strategic milestone in the joint cooperation in connection with the energy project development between China and Romania.

Ming Yang Wind Power Group is engaged in the designing, manufacturing, selling and servicing megawatt-class wind turbines.
The company also works with aerodyne Energiesysteme, based in Germany, to co-develop wind turbines.
