The company has secured 494MW orders under this MSA, with the latest deal.

Under the contract, Vestas will provide V100-2.0MW turbines for the projects to be built in the panhandle of Texas, and will comprise multi-year Active Output Management (AOM) 5000 service agreement for five years.

The company plans to complete the delivery of turbines in the fourth quarter of 2015 and the commissioning is also slated in the same year.

Vestas US and Canada sales and service division president Chris Brown said the wind energy is a job-creator in the US and the order will keep the firm’s factories busy.

"This order is a strong vote of confidence from one of the most experienced wind energy developers in the country, and we look forward to continuing to deliver projects under the Master Supply Agreement the two companies announced an expansion of in September 2013," Brown added.
