Scheduled to be commissioned in July 2015, the project is the second that Cobra Energia is executing with Siemens in Peru.

Located near the city of San Juan de Marcona and adjacent to the Marcona wind project, the Tres Hermanas project contributes to Peru’s energy goals to reduce its dependency on natural gas and decrease CO2 emissions.

Siemens Energy Wind Power Onshore Americas business CEO Mark Albenze said that the second order from Cobra Energia enables both the firms to further expand wind power activities in a growing wind market.

"We are pleased to partner with Cobra Energia again to provide clean, renewable power to more than 90.000 households in Peru," Albenze added.
