Gamesa will supply 42 of its G114 2MW turbines for Força Eólica do Brasil, which is a consortium formed by Iberdrola and Neoenergia.
Under the scope of the contract, Gamesa will supply, transport, install and commission 15 turbines each for Santana 1 and Santana 2 wind facilities in Rio Grande do Norte, which is located to the north-eastern sides of the country.

Another 15 turbines will be delivered for the Calango 6 facility.
Gamesa is expected to deliver the turbines during the third quarter of 2016, for the wind projects are likely to be commissioned by the fourth quarter.
G114 2MW turbines can yield more power at reduced cost, Gamesa claimed. The turbines are particularly suitable for high-wind and low-turbulence conditions found in Brazil.
